Today my husband and I picked up three more black and tans to add to our bunch. We took our son to the Coon Dog Cemetary. He was amazed. That is a great thing. I found your site under my husband's coon dog site. It is a great site. My son wouldn't leave until he looked at every site in it that he could see. He is 6 years old and loves to go huntin' with Daddy. He slept on the way home with all three dogs. :) Thanks for sharing this site with others.

I first heard about your graveyard in an issue of Outdoor Life several years back, but this is the first time Ive visited the website. This graveyard is a really great thing, a truly honorable way to pay homage to great coonhounds that have passed on. Keep up the great work.

It was such a joy to find your site. I grew up down the road from the cemetery. Which I visited on occasion with my grandfather. He has since pasted on but I still have fond memories of our talks and his stories about his coon hunts.
Hope to visit again soon!smile

We are losing a lot of our Southern traditions. Please don't lose this one. I remember several coon dogs on the family farms in South Alabama while growing up. This site brings back a flood of memories and good times. smile

I enjoy your website very much.
It brings back so many fond memories from my past coonhuntng days. Many of my fellow coonhunting buddies have passsed away but the memories never will. The younger generation of today will never know just how great the sport is because of the expansion of the cities into rural america and a sport that is slowly dieing. Keep up the website for there are many coonhunters like myself that truly enjoy it.
